Graphic Design and Multimedia Intern (Paid Internship)

As a Cheesecake Graphic Design and Multimedia Intern you will play an integral part in supporting our Organizational Engagement department by assisting with ongoing projects and responsibilities that relate to your future career. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a creative department, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You'll tackle real-world projects and challenges while building out a diverse portfolio.

 

Reporting to the Senior Visual UI Designer, you will work with a Creative team of six, located in Calabasas Hills, CA, supporting the Organizational Engagement function for a $3.3 billion public company with over 300 restaurants and more than 47,500 staff members.

Responsibilities

 

Here’s more of what you will get to do:

  • Work on our internal “Alignment Show”.
  • Create multimedia for training materials used in our Summer new menu rollout.
  • Prepare and support A/V needs at our annual charity golf tournament.
  • Create recipe videos and recipe photos for menu training.
  • Create Social Media campaigns, schedules and posts.
  • Have fun!


Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Completed a minimum 2 years in post-secondary education.
  • Majoring in graphic design, social media, photography, video or related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Available to work from the Support Center at least 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Canva a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of pre-press production.
