Processing Team Lead

We are seeking a team player to serve in a lead role on our processing team. This individual will assist with the processing and sorting of incoming and existing cattle inventory in our state of the art processing facility in Broken Bow, Nebraska.

This person will be responsible for:

Managing the daily reports, daily start-up, shutdown, and reporting of cattle records with the ALCC processing program and data.

Administering vaccines, implants, castrations, tags, topicals and antibiotics according to protocols and procedures.

Collecting and inputting data into the computer system.

Performing sanitation and preventative maintenance procedures in the facilities and on equipment.

Following AQA and safety guidelines when in cattle handling areas and facilities.

Computer skills and knowledge.

Beef Quality Assurance certified.

Commitment to safety and quality culture.

This position requires:

Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions if needed.

Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds continuously. Standing, walking, twisting, and reaching/handling/grasping continuously; carrying, lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, and stairs frequently; sitting, bending, and climbing occasionally; crawling and kneeling/crouching rarely.

Compensation Details:

Starting Wage: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
