Avue Technologies Corporation welcomes student groups within your institution to participate in the Data Mine to Storyline Championship. We provide a platform for students to demonstrate their application of analytical and interpretative skills using real-world labor data and statistics. Students enrolled as graduates, undergraduates,
or students graduating following the spring 2024 semester can register and compete for summer internship positions with Avue Technologies. Internship positions are paid and conducted remotely, allowing students to participate in internships regardless of their location and time zone.
This competition will challenge participating groups to harness their collective analytical skills to delve into the numbers and provide insightful labor force data findings. This includes current and past data gathered from informative data collection sources such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, and the U.S. Census Bureau.
Dashboard 1 - Hiring Managers: The dashboard tailored for hiring managers will serve as a strategic tool for decision-making. The dashboard should offer a panoramic view of occupational employment trends, economic indicators, and talent dynamics. Insights from this dashboard will empower hiring managers to make informed recruitment decisions, anticipate talent needs, and strategize workforce planning.
Dashboard 2 - Job Candidates: Conversely, the dashboard designed for job candidates will provide a personalized lens into the labor market landscape. This dashboard should highlight opportunities, demand-supply dynamics, and skill requirements pertinent to cyber workforce-related roles. Through these data-driven insights, candidates can gain a deeper understanding of market trends, identify areas for skill development, and refine their job search strategies accordingly.
All students are encouraged to participate in this competition. We encourage students to form interdisciplinary groups consisting of members from a diverse range of education, interests, and talents. Students can blend their unique expertise and experience to offer comprehensive insights into labor data trends.
Internship opportunities at Avue are conducted remotely, ensuring students’ access regardless of their time zone or location. We offer both part-time and full-time internship opportunities. Please note that students must be U.S. citizens to participate in an internship at Avue.
Part-Time
Duration: June 2024 onward
Part-time paid positions will begin in June 2024, and students are estimated to work less than 30 hours a week during their internship period. Our part-time internships allow flexibility beyond the summer months, allowing students to continue gaining valuable skills and work experience throughout the academic year.
