2024-2025 Literacy and/or Math Tutor - WORK STUDY
We are looking for off-campus work-study students to serve as math/literacy tutors in our schools for the 2024-2025 school year! This position will be approximately 10 hours per week and can work around your class schedule.

- Cache La Poudre Elementary
- Dunn Elementary
- Eyestone Elementary
- Fort Collins High
- Laurel Elementary
- Lesher Middle
- Lincoln Middle
- Lopez Elementary
- Poudre Global Academy
- Putnam Elementary
- Rice Elementary
- Riffenburgh Elementary
- Shepardson Elementary
- Werner Elementary
This is an off-campus work-study position; the applicant must be eligible for need-based work-study to apply.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide instructional support to students in math and/or literacy
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to provide assistance with class assignments
- Follow up with students regarding homework assignments, tests and other class projects
- May administer, edit, proofread and grade student work, tests and assignments.
- Establish a rapport with students
- Communication with students' teachers regarding progress, needs, and concerns
The candidate should:
- Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and a positive attitude
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, and an initiative-taker
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Have content knowledge in literacy and math
- Have prior experience working with children
- This is a work-study position; must have need-based work-study award to apply
