Nature Of Work:

The CSU Band Department is looking for an undergraduate student employee to serve as the librarian for all the CSU Concert Bands.  The student employee will work closely with band staff to ensure materials are distributed accurately and on time. Dependability is critical to success in this position. Seeking a self‐motivated, multi‐tasking, organized undergraduate student employee who possesses superior verbal and written communication skills. 

This position may work up to 8-10 hours per week between August 5th, 2024 – May 10th, 2025. We would like to hire 1 student for this position and would like the new employee to start in August 2024.

Job Duties:

Continuous

  • Maintain the Concert Bands portion of the library including general organization, inventory records, and cataloging new repertoire.
  • Assist with checking out folders and other music as necessary.
  • Follow all Music Library Procedures.
  • Communicate on all timelines for music distribution, including the estimated time needed to complete tasks prior to deadlines.
