Job Description
- Seeking a self-motivated, attentive, and organized student employee who possesses superior attention to detail and communication skills
- May work up to 20 hours/week. Working hours availability 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM, varying times.
- Must be willing to work during fall and spring semester
- This is a work-study position; applicant must be eligible for work-study to apply
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Interact in a positive and friendly manner, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills, while engaging with internal and external constituents and colleagues. TW/V/WC
- Assist students, faculty, staff, family members/support-givers and external constituents to navigate obstacles. CT/PS/V/WC
- Assisting customers in person by providing coverage for the front counter of the Office of the Registrar. CT/PS/V/WC
- Identify core problem and coach end-user to complete transaction in RAMweb or ARIESweb or to follow appropriate process. CT/PS/V/WC
- Tracking outreach/documents using Excel. DP
- As assigned, assist in other activities supporting Office of the Registrar daily operations. TW, CD
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail, especially in written communication. PA/CT/PS
- Able to follow instructions, policy, and procedures and ask questions for guidance. V/TW/SR
- Able to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. V/WC
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information. PA
- Experience taking initiative to identify and solve problems. L/PA/CT/PS
- Self-Motivated. L/PA
- Demonstrated knowledge of and relevant ability with culturally diverse communities among potential target and constituent populations. GC
Preferred Skills
- Experience providing in person customer service. DP
- Experience managing multiple computer programs/screens quickly and efficiently. DP

Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $14.42 with the possibility of a raise each semester
