The Department of Race, Gender, and Ethnic Studies is seeking youth mentors. Mentors will provide program support and participant mentorship at the Ute Mountain Ute ISTAR summer camp in Towaoc, CO. 

Mentors are responsible for:
- developing positive relationships with youth participants
- assisting with facilitation of educational activities
- set up/clean up of program activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

- Previous experience with educational summer programs for Indigenous youth
- Understanding of and experience with Indigenous cultural protocols
- Completion of ETST 240 or equivalent experience/education

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Previous experience working with the ISTAR program preferred.
