Description:

•             Support graduate research assistants and post-doctoral researchers in the laboratory to meet project milestones and deliverables. 

•             Support fabrication of research solar cells and perform electrical measurements and characterization of such solar cells. 

•             Aid in upkeep of laboratory space including help in equipment maintenance, tool organization, and general laboratory operations. 

•             Help with inventory management to ensure important consumables are stocked and available when required.

Responsibilities:

Follow a supervisor’s instructions in the fabrication and testing of experimental solar cells, and assist with equipment-maintenance needs.

Required Skills:

STEM major student, preferably from Physics or Mechanical Engineering. Familiarity with solar cell characterization. 

Preferred Skills:

Experience and aptitude for hands-on laboratory activities such as operating vacuum chambers for thin film processing like sputtering and sublimation. 

Background Check Language: Colorado State University may conduct background checks on final candidates.
