STUDENT COMMUNICATIONS & ADMIN ASSISTANT

 The Student Communications & Admin Assistant is a member of the University Academic Advising & Advocacy Department and will provide administrative, communications, and project support for Exploratory Studies Advising, Health Professions Advising, and Advising Training & Professional Development as well as to the Executive Director of University Academic Advising & Advocacy. 

This is a position for the 2024-25 academic year ending in May 2025. Time commitment will be 10-12 hours each week. The position will report to the Director of University Advising & Advocacy.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Work Study preferred
  • Must demonstrate ability to create content and communicate using technology in a cooperative effort with non-technical staff.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in developing marketing materials including infographics and posters
  • Demonstrated commitment to support CSU’s Principles of Community (https://inclusiveexcellence.colostate.edu/resources/principles-of-community/)
  • Optional: experience with design software
  • Optional: experience with video editing
  • Optional: experience with website content editing
