Culinary & Nutritional Internship
Food Preparation: Prepares either or both hot or ready to eat food according to Canyon Ranch’s recipes, nutrition philosophy and quality of presentation. Follow correct procedures, in accordance with Clark County Health code at all times, without exception.
Recipe Knowledge: Continually updates knowledge of Ranch recipes, food preparation and food presentation. Reports any discrepancies in recipe procedures, ingredients, yields or measurements to supervisor so the recipes can be corrected.
Daily Operations: Performs opening and closing procedures as directed. Responsible for restocking their station and maintaining full readiness for each meal period and for the next cook.
Nutrition: Understand and partner with nutrition team to ensure recipes are meeting nutritional requirements.
