
The Semilla Project Campus Ambassador
Job Description:
The Semilla Project (TSP) Campus Ambassador is a student leadership position that promotes student success for agricultural science students who either participated in TSP or aligned with TSP goals to increase representation in agricultural sciences.
Seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking, organized student employee who possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
May work up 3-5 hrs/week, flexible schedule and may work some weekends
Must be willing to work during fall and spring semester.
Bilingual preferred.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating high school visits to ensure a quality campus visit.
- Design and coordinate workshops and programs for TSP members to promote community and belonging.
- Professionally represent and promote TSP on campus and at schools visited.
- Help manage communication and marketing of social media.
- Help manage inventory of TSP marketing materials.
- Developing new partnerships and building relationships within our Native American Initiative programs.
- Provide excellent customer service and professional representation.
- Ability to work inclusively in a diverse setting.
- Work-study Only Positions: This is a work-study position; applicant must be eligible for work-study to apply. (Only required for work study positions)
