The function of the job is to prepare all the media and supplies for all of the laboratory classes that are taught in the Microbiology Department which include General Microbiology, Medical Microbiology, Food and Dairy Microbiology, Parasitology, Virology, Immunology and Microbial Genetics. We also prepare media for some of the Biology Classes. The students will become proficient in the use of autoclaves, pH meters, balances, dispensing pumps, and will learn how to make the necessary calculations in determining concentrations of substances in the various media. The student needs to be able to work at least ten hours per week.

The job begins Feb 28th, 2025 and ends when the student graduates from the University. The salary begins at $15.00 per hour.
