300 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526, United States This position is responsible for providing support to our Equine and Livestock Hospital primarily during our emergency hours.  This position will receive phone calls and will need to gather important information and arrange for ambulatory or in-hospital visits by coordinating with the clients and our team.  

• Seeking a highly self-motivated, organized, and reliable student employee
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends
• Previous equine and livestock experience preferred
• Must have good decision-making and communication skills

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist clients calling in to the JFEH during our night and weekend hours, be able to identify emergent calls and alert extended team  PS
• Work effectively and respectably both independently and as a member of a team to accomplish client and patient care PA;TW
• Assess phone calls and be able to evaluate the urgency of working with clients and teams to determine ambulatory visit or in-hospital resources. WC
• Accurately enter client and patient information into the electronic medical record

Employees can expect at least 1 weekend 8-5 shift per week.  Training times will be during work week and require a few weeks of daytime hours.
