Digital Marketing Intern – SEO & Analytics

 

Job Summary:
We are a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Intern to expand our digital marketing footprint and enhance our online visibility. The ideal candidate will have experience in SEO, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Search Console, and other essential tools to drive our digital marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy & Implementation:
    • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
    • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
    • Research ways to optimize website structure, meta tags and content for search engine visibility.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Monitor, track, and analyze website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
    • Generate reports to assess traffic trends, user behavior, and campaign performance.
    • Discuss actionable insights based on data with marketing team to refine marketing strategies.
  • Content Optimization:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure web copy, social media, blogs, and other assets are optimized for SEO.
    • Discuss content strategies with marketing team that align with keyword opportunities and target audience needs.
  • Competitor & Industry Analysis:
    • Utilize tools like SEMRush to analyze competitor strategies and identify areas for improvement.
    • Identify current SEO and digital marketing trends to ensure best practices are shared.
  • Research & Strategy Development:
    • Research current marketing trends, consumer behaviors, and opportunities.
    • Contribute strategy ideas to drive online traffic to the company website and enhance user engagement.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the marketing and development teams to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with business goals.
    • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEMRush, and Google Search Console preferred.
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure as it relates to SEO.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as needed, manage tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to research, develop, and execute marketing strategies tailored to consumer behaviors and trends.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and communicate the value of digital marketing initiatives.

 

Job Requirements:

  • In person (Amherst, NY)
  • 25-30 hours per week
  • Internship / Student
