
Field Assistant – Geophysical Methods in the Poudre Headwaters
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is seeking a student to Assist with field data collection and equipment handling for geophysical field studies in the Poudre River headwaters. Responsibilities include deploying instruments (ERT, GPR, etc.), managing GPS data, assisting with field notes, and basic data processing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Willingness to work outdoors in remote conditions
- Ability to carry moderate loads, and interest in hydrology, geology, or environmental science.
Required qualifications:
- Must be available for full-day field trips and have completed at least one relevant CEE, WR, or GEOL courses
Start Date: June 1, 2025
End Date: August 15, 2025
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Estimated Hours per Week: 10–30
