
Investment Banking M&A Internship
We are a specialized firm focused on the acquisition of medical device and healthcare software companies. Our team works directly with strategic buyers, investors, and operators to identify and execute high-value transactions that transform the healthcare technology landscape.
This internship centers on deal origination—you’ll help identify private companies, engage directly with founders and executives, and support outreach efforts that generate qualified M&A opportunities. It’s a hands-on role designed for individuals who are analytical, resourceful, and motivated to gain real exposure to live deal sourcing in a specialized healthcare vertical.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify medical device and software companies that fit current acquisition strategies
- Profile company ownership and key decision-makers (CEOs, founders, boards)
- Conduct targeted outreach to private company executives and maintain communication follow-ups
- Build and manage databases to track active targets and outreach performance
- Prepare summary briefs, outreach messaging, and presentation support materials
- Monitor news, regulatory trends, and transaction activity across the healthcare sector
Qualifications
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, life sciences, or a related field
- Preferred: MBA or Master’s in Finance students or recent graduates
- Interest in the healthcare sector, medical technology, or enterprise software
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills—comfortable reaching out to executives
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess business models and market fit
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and driven to contribute meaningfully from day one
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship during the initial 3-month term. Top-performing interns may be considered for a paid position or full-time employment with long-term equity participation potential.
