Public Lands Policy Group Hourly Research Assistant

Position Title: Public Lands Policy Group Hourly Research Assistant

Position Summary: The hourly research assistant will help with cleaning qualitative interview data on projects focused on forest and fire policy. This is a great opportunity to learn about social science and policy research for natural resources. The RA may also assist with other administrative duties for the Climate Initiative at CSU. The work can also be done remotely.

Duties:
• Cleaning interview data, scheduling, and other administrative duties as assigned. 
• The incumbent will have the opportunity to participate in data collection if interested.

Required Qualifications:
• Some knowledge of public lands policy or social sciences related to natural resources. 
• Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Experience in natural resource professions.
• Interest in policy research for natural resources

Number of weekly working hours: 8 -13 hours of work per week.

Potential Start date and duration: Summer semester and beyond, depending on performance.

Number of Openings: 1

Hourly Pay Rate: $20-25 dollars/hour
