Job Description:

The Data Science Research Institute (DSRI) is seeking undergraduate or graduate students interested in working with the DSRI high performance computing (HPC) system Riviera. We welcome applicants with varying levels of experience in HPC, and no prior knowledge of HPC is required.

This opportunity provides a hands-on learning experience for students interested in advancing their skills in high-performance computing, data science, and related fields.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

•  Conduct a range of computer experiments on high performance computers including model building and optimal parameter estimation. 
• Be punctual, and communicate changes in work schedule.
• Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work.

Required Skills

• Programming skills in some languages. 
• Excellent communication skills. 

Hourly Pay Rate : $15-$22 per hour
