CSU Rams Volleyball Student Manager

Position: CSU Rams Volleyball Student Manager

Department: Athletics

Sport Delegation: Volleyball

Hours: 18-25 hours/week. Vary depending on time of year. Must be willing to work nights/weekends.

Start Date: June 2025

Pay: $15 per hour, must be eligible to obtain work study for the 2025-26 academic year

Job Description:

·        Set up and tear down practice spaces and equipment

·        Prepare and clean up spaces for team meals

·        Facilitate in match duties: ball rotation, game day event set up, etc.

·        Assist with other operational duties: receipts, meal and travel planning, event management etc.

·        Meet visiting teams for practice slots

Requirements:

·        The ideal candidate has an intrinsic interest in intercollegiate athletics and a working knowledge of the game of volleyball

·        Attendance at daily practices (Fall: 12:30-3:30p M-F; Spring: 3-6p M-F), all home matches (Thursday 7p - and Saturdays 1p or 7p during the regular season) and occasionally will travel with the team are required; some office hours; some work can be done remotely

·        An excuse letter will be provided by Student Athlete Support Services Coordinator for

missed class while representing the University

·        Reliable undergraduate student who takes pride in their work

·        Good problem-solving skills

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks at once

·        Can deliver quality work against strict deadlines
