Student Assistant, Football Operations

The Colorado State Football Program is employing one (1) student assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the football program. This role reports directly to the Director of Football Operations and the Operations Assistant, and provides assistance with team logistics, event execution, and administrative coordination.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with daily team operations as directed by Football Operations staff, including practice setup, office supply organization, and support with budget documentation

Helping with team travel logistics such as hotel preparation, itinerary assembly, and confirming finalized travel rosters

Coordinating staff meals, managing facility access for players and staff, and updating calendars in Teamworks

Maintaining operational checklists, shared staff calendars, and internal files or reports

Providing general support during spring football, fall camp, game days, and official team events

 

Required Skills

Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Colorado State University

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Clear and professional communication (written and verbal)

Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and move between facilities efficiently

 

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in a team, athletics, or event operations setting

Familiarity with Teamworks, Excel, and other organizational software

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in athletics, coaching, or sports administration

Ability to stay composed under pressure and work effectively with players, staff, and visitors
